About the project

Saltbush Wind Farm is a proposed 400MW wind farm development with a co-located solar farm and battery, which once operational will provide clean energy to approximately 173,000 Australian households.

Located within the South West Renewable Energy Zone (SW REZ) in Booroorban, New South Wales, Saltbush Wind Farm will contribute to accelerating the transition to a future powered by renewable energy.

  • 2. Prepare Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) Including, cultural, social and environmental studies

  • 3. Development Approval issued by NSW DPE

  • 4. Final Investment Decision

  • 5. Construction and commissioning activities

  • 6. Renewable energy generation begins
